 Professional Experience

James joined the BAS team as a senior valuation analyst in July of 2013, and was promoted to Valuation Services Manager in 2015. James has significant experience in the valuation profession, including three and a half years as a valuation analyst with a large consulting firm located in the Chicago area during which time he performed tax related business valuations for firms ranging in size from $500,000 to $50 million in annual revenues.

More recently James worked as a valuation analyst with a public accounting firm, providing a combination of valuation services and litigation support services, including divorce related valuations.

James is a 2008 graduate of Western Illinois University where he was a double major with a bachelor's degree in both accounting and finance. James is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
